In early October a follow-up seminar (3rd level) for Czech teachers organized by the Terezin Memorial in cooperation with the Czech Ministry of Education took place in the former Ravensbruck concentration camp in Germany.

Part of the four-day seminar held in Ravensbruck was also a visit to the House of the Wannsee Conference in Berlin. Participants so had the opportunity to see not only an extensive exposition devoted to the Holocaust development, but also view the room, where the conference itself took place in January 1942. The atmosphere of the place was reinforced by a gripping interpretation of events related to the issue. In the next part of the programme, teachers attended a workshop, during which they worked directly with sources of archival nature.

The second day of the seminar was dedicated to the former concentration camp Ravensbruck. Participants visited the local depository, where they were presented archival materials relating to Protectorate female prisoners and historical documents. In the afternoon, everyone got involved in the photographic workshop followed by an exposition tour. Some of the participants presented their school projects within the seminar. The tight schedule again brought new knowledge and information to teachers as well as broadened their horizons in the way and methodology of educating about the Holocaust.
