Perpetrators of Crimes. The SS repressive staffs in Terezin and Litomerice, 1940 – 1945

The exposition Perpetrators of Crimes presents by means of 37 gripping panels the SS members who participated in the brutal treatment of Jewish and non-Jewish inmates and their murders within 1940-1945. The exposition is divided into several sections. Three main parts are devoted to individual persecutory facilities, two of which were set in Terezin (ghetto for people of Jewish origin in the town of Terezin, Terezin Police Prison in the Small Fortress) and the third one in the nearby Litomerice town, which served as a sub-camp of the concentration camp Flossenburg. Part of the exposition is also devoted to post-war prosecution of the perpetrators of these crimes.

The exposition is the result of a long-term research of the history department of the Terezin Memorial, and the information suitably complements to the permanent exhibitions of the Memorial. The exposition creators tried to use unpublished or little-known photographs and documents.

The exact location of the exposition within the Memorial is to see on the Terezin Memorial website or on Facebook.
