A four-day third-tier teacher-training seminar, held in cooperation with the Terezín Memorial, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic, the Ravensbrück Memorial and the Wannsee Conference House, took place in the first week of October 2018. Its participants were acquainted with the educational projects, prepared by the Ravensbrück Memorial and the Wannsee Conference House and had the possibility of attending selected workshops and detailed sightseeing tours of the exhibitions in both institutions. When visiting Ravensbrück Memorial, they had a chance to see the sections of the former concentration camp that are usually closed to visitors, and also its depository. The program came complete with a screening of Juraj Herz film Zastihla mě noc (The Night Overtake Me) featuring the Czech female journalist Jožka Jabůrková who was imprisoned in Ravensbrück. The participants also appreciated the chance to be introduced to the educational projects of other orkshop attendees.
